Patio Furniture Dubai — For Covered and Semi-Covered Outdoor Spaces
A patio sits between indoor and outdoor living. Covered by a pergola, awning, or roof extension, it’s protected from direct sun and most rain, but still exposed to humidity, temperature swings, and occasional blowing rain. It’s more forgiving than a fully exposed garden, but tougher on furniture than an indoor space.
We build custom patio furniture in Dubai designed for this middle ground. Materials that handle covered outdoor conditions without the extreme weatherproofing required for full-sun gardens. Comfort and style closer to indoor furniture, with the durability outdoor furniture needs.
Free consultation. Typical build time 2–4 weeks. Free delivery and setup across Dubai.
What We Build for Patios
- Patio sofas — 2-seater and 3-seater sofas for covered patio seating areas
- Patio dining sets — tables with 4 or 6 matching chairs for patio dining
- Patio coffee tables — low tables that pair with patio sofas
- Patio armchairs — single chairs for patio corners and reading spots
- Patio benches — long benches for patio edges and walls
- Patio bistro sets — small tables with 2 chairs for casual use
- Patio daybeds — covered daybeds for lounging on the patio
- Full matched patio sets — sofa, chairs, and tables in coordinated fabric
Materials for Covered Patios
Because covered patios are protected but not climate-controlled, we use materials that balance comfort and durability:
- Aluminum frames — powder-coated for rust resistance, lighter than solid wood
- Teak frames — naturally weather-resistant, warm finish
- Synthetic rattan — UV-stabilised, feels traditional, easy to clean
- Performance fabric — solution-dyed acrylic or performance weaves for UV resistance
- Quick-dry foam — for cushions in case they get caught in blowing rain
- Stainless steel hardware — for longevity in humid coastal air
Patio Layouts for Dubai Homes
Based on common Dubai patio configurations, we typically recommend:
Small covered patio (villa, 10–15 sqm): Patio sofa or loveseat plus coffee table and one armchair. Bistro set on one side if you want dining.
Medium covered patio (villa, 15–25 sqm): 3-seater patio sofa, 2 armchairs, coffee table. Separate patio dining set for 4 on the other end.
Large covered patio (villa, 25+ sqm): Full matched set with 3-seater sofa, 2 armchairs, coffee table, dining table for 6, plus loungers if the patio opens to a pool.
Apartment patio (Downtown, Business Bay): 2-seater sofa or bistro set depending on size. Coffee table with 2 armchairs if space allows.
Patio vs Garden vs Balcony Furniture
The differences matter for what we recommend:
- Patio furniture (this page) — for covered or semi-covered spaces. Can use slightly more refined materials because exposure is limited.
- Garden furniture — for fully exposed gardens. Needs maximum weatherproofing.
- Balcony furniture — for compact apartment balconies. Sized and designed for small spaces, often facing glass-reflected heat.
If you’re not sure which category your space falls into, send us a photo and we’ll advise. The right choice is often obvious once we see the layout and sun exposure.
Matching Existing Furniture
If you already have some patio furniture and want to add matching pieces, bring us the details (or send photos) and we’ll match the frame material, fabric, and finish. We can build individual pieces that blend seamlessly with your existing set.
