Outdoor Majlis Transformation — Emirates Hills

This Emirates Hills villa has an outdoor majlis used for evening gatherings in cooler months. The original cushions had faded in the sun and the foam had absorbed moisture, causing mildew.

We replaced all cushions with quick-dry foam wrapped in weather-resistant fabric in a light sand colour — lighter tones reflect heat and stay cooler to sit on. The fabric is UV-resistant and mould-resistant, suited to Dubai’s outdoor conditions.

We kept the traditional low Arabic profile and added removable covers so the client can wash them after gatherings. The wooden frame was treated with a weather seal to protect it from humidity.
