Mounting Options
- Bed-mounted — attached to the bed frame at the back. Moves with the bed if you rearrange or replace it. Works with most bed frame styles.
- Wall-mounted — fixed to the wall above the bed. Frees up floor space and looks cleaner in modern bedrooms. Can be as wide as the wall itself.
- Full-wall headboard — extends from wall to wall, covering the full width behind the bed and both bedside tables. Creates a designer feature wall effect.
Styles
- Panel headboards — divided into vertical panels with gaps between them. Modern, geometric.
- Channel-tufted — vertical channels of upholstery running the full height. Contemporary and soft.
- Button-tufted — diamond or square tufting with buttons. Classic and luxurious.
- Curved top — a soft curve along the top edge. Softer and more traditional.
- Winged — extended side panels that wrap slightly forward. Traditional look, cosy feel.
- Plain — no tufting, no panels. Cleanest look.
Fabrics

- Velvet — luxurious, deep colour. Performance velvets resist crushing.
- Linen — breathable, natural. Good for master bedrooms.
- Bouclé — textured, soft. Popular for modern interiors.
- Performance fabrics — stain-resistant, durable. Good for kids’ rooms.
- Genuine leather — full-grain or bonded. Ages beautifully.

Paired With Your Bed
If you’re also ordering a custom bed from us, we build the headboard in the same wood species, fabric, or leather so it matches the bed frame. For wall-mounted headboards, we ensure the mounting height aligns with the bed frame for a seamless look.

- Throw cushions — coordinating cushions included on request.
- Reading lights — wall-mounted sconces integrated into the headboard (electrician required).
